Moves 1 – 3 (repeated 4-6 & 7-9) – Opening Sequence

Two on One - Backs of hands together represents grabbing one way and then the other direction - Various videos"]The karke uke is when the opponent turns into you - theny don't strike as head is tucked into their head. So when they push you karke uke the arm and then prop the elbow to give you a clear path for entry.

Alternative to explain hands pushed down position.

ck up into single leg from someone trying to get their arm back on 2 on 1
2. From 2 on 1 Shock Down capture head feed through and grab other arm - then use the nugete as a leg pick up.

Makes an interesting pint about lifting the elbow from the collar tie which fits the first movement of the kata. Also raises the idea of different responses, pulls the arm back, in to a lock (could be karke uke bit). Or straight arm them push up behind the elbow (nugete) eg Patrick McCarthy.

This version uses a snap down on the arms. This fits the versions of the kata where the nugeta is delivered at a 45 degree angle and not straight.
